CASPER, WY – U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference and a member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, today issued the following statement after the Iran-backed Hamas terrorist organization attacked Israel.

“Israel is at war. The Biden Administration’s weakness has made the world less safe for America and our allies.

“Biden’s most recent decision to release $6 billion to the largest state sponsor of terrorism, Iran, on September 11 is just the latest example of Biden’s weakness.

“Joe Biden enabled the deadly terrorist attacks on Israel. He put distance between the White House and the Israeli government. That sent a dangerous message to Israel’s enemies.

“Israel has my support and will have the support of the Congress to defend itself.”
