The Senate Republican Conference is a leadership office chaired by Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas. The Conference focuses on communicating Republican priorities to the American people. Through television, radio, digital, and other resources, Republican Senators are speaking directly to you. For each Congress, the office publishes the Rules and Resolutions for the Republican Conference.
New rule for voting time:
“Resolved, during the 119th Congress, it is the policy of the Senate Republican Conference that Roll Call Votes on the Floor should be closed within 30 minutes of the start of the call of the roll so long as a quorum of the Senate has voted, that enough Republican Senators have voted to prevail on the question, and the Senate is prepared to move to the next item of business.”
The results speak for themselves.
